In the summer of 2016, we received a enthusiastic group of Executive MBA students from the St Mary’s College of California – Trans Global MBA Program.
The team consisting of highly experienced financial experts, Auditors, Marketers, Development workers and architects took up the mammoth task of evaluating our complete model.
Their work involved :
- Conducting of database searches; library research; industry and market analyses; other kinds of secondary research; focus groups; expert interviews; identification of published reports; and other kinds of analyses required to address the questions and issues identified.
- Provision of research, voluntary manpower and other types of support to us in order to meet the mission and objectives identified by us in conjunction with the participants.
- A report analyzing the specific questions raised by the us, presenting the findings and recommendations of the research study during a short formal presentation to us.
At the end of all , the team presented a comprehensive report that included suggestions to improve our model, take up industry required marketing activities, revamp our donor management program and also improve our volunteer recruitment services. We found their suggestions highly valuable and are taking it up as a road-map for our future agendas.
Some of the recommendations are already being undertaken and some are in the planning phase.
We are very thankful to the team for their time and efforts in bringing forth the gaps that exist in our model. We are learning as we grow and its support networks such as these which makes us keep our motivations high.
