On 15th August DBM launched the Tablet distribution drive to help the education of slum children. The Slum children who are unable to join online classes due to lack of smartphones and\/or access to data were in the fear of losing out on the entire academic year due to closure of schools due to pandemic. The slum schools are unable to conduct online classes due to lack of infrastructure and resources and though DBM had been conducting online classes for classes 8th, 9th and 10th, since MAY 2020, most of the students could not join due to lack of smartphones.<\/p>\n

So we approached our donors to help us in giving tablets to these communities which can help multiple students to use the same for attending online classes ! One of the biggest NGO’s of the world which is known for its humanitarian work throughout the world, reaching almost everywhere be it Libya, Nepal, Syria, London etc., came forward to sponsor the tablets for our kids.<\/p>\n
