Tata STRIVE, an initiative of Tata Community Initiatives Trust, and the first Group CSR programme, addresses the pressing need of skilling India’s youth for employment, entrepreneurship and community enterprise.
It reaches to communities, develops skills of people from financially challenged backgrounds and acclimatises them with the changing work environment. The core philosophy is to create courses that would help in creating and supplying trained manpower across the entire industrial spectrum as well as develop entrepreneurial talent.
The transition of youth into an employee/entrepreneur is a transformation process that involves behaviour change, knowledge acquisition and skill development.
As a partner, we got an opportunity to send two of our very hard working instructors Nasreen Maam who is a tailoring teacher and Sakshi Maam who is a beautician teacher at Govandi.
The benefits of the program are manifold :

4. TATA Strive would also review the progress of 6 of the students which our teachers would be training to evaluate if the skills imparted to our teachers are bringing the desired changes in the training modules and processes.
