‘Chalo English Sikhayein’ is one of the major Educational initiatives undertaken by Dharma Bharathi Mission. The project is undertaken to improve both spoken and written English in vernacular schools so that they overcome the fear of the English language.
For this project (CES) every year NSS (National Service Scheme) students volunteer and teach at our DBM adopted schools. The program starts in August and ends in February and the volunteers teach every Saturday. This year the concluding function of CES was held on 23rd February in IMFS, Diamond Plaza Dadar West.
This year we had a record of 110 NSS who volunteered with us and taught the enthusiastic students in our schools. The students shared their inspiring journey and for all of us it was an emotional event as the journey for CES 2018-2019 came to conclusion. Innumerable students benefit from this program every year, the students’ personality, academic output and career graph improve drastically.
The volunteers, DBM coordinators always strive hard to improve and expand the CES program every year so that more and more students are helped by this program.
