DBM’s Red Cross Day Celebration

On 8th of May, 2019 Dharma Bharathi Mission celebrated ‘World Red Cross Day’ in association with Indian Red Cross Society. The venue of the event was DBM’s Govandi Centre. It gave us immense happiness and deep satisfaction to observe 100 students participate in activities like drawing on the topics : ‘Save Nature, Save Water, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, etc ; and thereafter enjoy wholesome lunch and fruits like Mango.

The schools which participated in the event were: Gyan Sadhana School, Mohd. Jeffery School, Al-Ahmedi School, and Veer Savarkar School. As children are the future of our country, it’s our responsibility to enrich their mind with beautiful experiences.

It was a truly fulfilling day where the children learned about the inception of the Red Cross and shared their feelings on how they can grow to be responsible citizens and take forward the humanitarian spirit.

Our DBM Trustee Farheen Peshimam was associated with the project and made the initiative a huge success.
