DBM India invited Dr. Nisha Nayak and a young medical student Dhruv Mehta to interact with students who have been supported by us under our Patang Scholarship program and who are interested in Medicine as a career.

Dr. Nayak ran the interested students through the entire process of preparing for the medical exam right from preparing from class 11 onwards, preparing for the NEET exams and choosing the colleges. Then she spoke about Alternative Courses such as Dental, Physiotherapy, Ayush Courses and Para Medical Courses. She explained about all these courses in detail and the future of all the courses.

Her exhaustive presentation evoked a keen interest from students who asked a lot of very relevant questions. Students also asked how to manage study time and coaching. They also got a lot of knowledge regarding what is the work included in each branch and what would be the future of each course.

In all it was a very fruitful session and in the coming months we intend to have many more career specific sessions with our students.
