Mayuri Parmar and Swati Patil, from Sophia’s College completed their volunteering at the DBM library at 2nd Innings Library where they taught English to the students of the nearby school and community and helped to update the Library.

We organized an event for certificate distribution for our students on 22nd January, 2020. The Chief Guest for this event was Major TS Bevli and Colonel Alexander. Jan’2020, DBM completes 12 years with its frontline pillars, celebrating the success and hard work of making DBM an effective instrument of change in society. The day involved a very energizing and reflective discussion amongst the team members on the impact DBM has created till now and the way forward.
Corporate Engagement with Alkem Laboratories
DBM Team organised a meet at Alkem Laboratories Ltd. at Power Parel. The team met Mr Abhinav and Employees of Alkem, introduced DBM, spoke about its vision and 3 main verticals, i.e. Education, Empowerment and Employment. Post that, the team showcased the work of bag making by thier ‘Women empowerment
Celebration of Republic day at Maharashtra Vidhyalaya School, Mankhurd
Republic Day celebrations were held at Maharashtra Vidhyalaya – Mankhurd. All students of 5th to 7th standard enjoyed flag hosting by singing National Anthem, followed by cultural program folk dances, singing patriotic songs, etc. under the guidance of DBM.
